I'd rather they didn't. It's a sports-ish car... What is with people and wanting to turn sports cars into wagons these days? I don't understand why you'd want to add 100-200+ pounds to a sports car. Especially to one that was specifically designed to be a lightweight, 200 hp sports coupe... Kinda defeats the entire purpose for which the car was built.
Want a fast wagon? They already exist. Buy one of those.

Well, if they're going to make a 4-door FRS it might as well be wagon-ish. The four door is a compromise already, might as well be a practical compromise.

I supposed there is some logic to your statement... But I just think it's kinda counter to the point of the car... It wasn't supposed to be a 4 door, let alone a wagon. Let's see if I can explain this another way...
Would you want a 4 door wagon Porsche 944 Turbo? Or a 4 door wagon Toyota Trueno? Or a 4 door wagon Jaguar E-Type? I know my answer to those three questions is a resounding "no"... Those cars were designed for a specific purpose. So was the FR-S/BR-Z/GT86. To turn the Toyobaru twins into a 4 door wagon just dilutes, and spoils the things that make them what they are... To make it a 4 door wagon would add 2+ feet to the wheelbase, which changes the handling characteristics. It would also add 200+ pounds to the rear of the car, further degrading the handling characteristics. This means that they'd A) have to add power just to compensate for the added weight, and B) they'd have to completely re-engineer the suspension geometry, adjust spring rates, shock dampening, etc... Just seems like more trouble than it's worth to me...

I personally wish they'd do a modern take on the Subaru 22b... that'd be sweet. In fact, I'd rather they did a AWD version of the BR-Z than a 4 door wagon version.

I agree. Would you want a 4 door sedan Porsche 944 Turbo? Or any of those other cars? The answer is no for me, both when it comes to the wagon and the sedan. But if I had to choose between a 4-door sedan or wagon I'd pick the wagon.

I'd love either a two door shooting brake or four door sedan. I do not think a 4 door wagon will work.

I agree with jql213 and Barbarian772. It looks like a CT200h with a longer nose, and the sedan version would be better.
We want rear legroom and headroom!
